The hot water radiant panel circulates hot water through a metal tube hidden on the back of the panel, providing sustainable heating. The hot water radiant panel is modular. The required panel surface area can be obtained by combining the required number of modules of a specific size. In this way, the heating needs of any space can be fully and accurately met.

Under standard conditions of use, when the heating fluid (hot water, superhot water, steam, etc.) passes through the pipe, the temperature reached by the hot water radiant plate pipe is higher than the temperature of the plate to which they transfer heat, but the temperature is different. Each time the temperature of the fluid in the pipe rises, the pipe quickly reaches a temperature close to that temperature, while the hot water radiant plate heats up later. This may last for a few minutes. Even when the system is working, there is a difference in temperature between the pipe and the plate. In other words, the expansion time of the tube and the plate is different. This happens constantly during the life of the radiant panel and can lead to tension and permanent deformation of the panel envelope. In steam systems, due to high temperature and pressure, special operations are required to bind the plates and pipes together, and this also happens with hot water systems. Radiant panels act as a natural feature to allow for nighttime and weekend frustrations, i.e. closing the boiler at night and on rest days. The heating time of the pipe and the plate is different, the groove of the pipe will also be deformed, almost all systems have automatic adjustment, and the fluid temperature in the plate is continuously changed. Expansion can cause the plate wrapping the pipe to deform, reducing the contact surface with the pipe itself and thus reducing the heat output of the panel.

In order to reduce this thermal shock, the ECOPAN hot water radiant panel implements a 2m long metal plate module, so that the 4m module is composed of 2 plates and the 6m module is composed of 3 plates. When the 2 meter plates are placed side by side, an expansion joint is formed. The welding point exists in the middle of each 2m sheet, so the expansion on both sides is less than 1mm. This ensures that the panel will not deform during this time. To meet any need, ECOPAN hot water radiant panels have a very wide range, including models with different distances between pipes (111 mm and 150 mm) and pipe diameters (1/2 and 3/4). Depending on the temperature and pressure of the heating fluid, the pipe itself may be electrically welded or unwelded. Each panel is connected to the hot water supply network via header. The panel may adopt a header connected at both ends, with one water inlet on one side and the other water outlet on the other side, or a header connected on the same side, with the water inlet and outlet on the same side.

A variety of ECOPAN panels with different tube sizes and distances offer many possible choices. Heating the environment by evenly placing radiant panels on the ceiling ensures that the floor temperature is always several degrees higher than the indoor air temperature. This creates a more natural and comfortable feeling of warmth. In the heating of industrial facilities, warehouses, gymnasiums, train repair stations, aircraft hangars, amphitheatres and similar tall space buildings, the use of hot water radiant panels can save more than 30% of energy compared to other systems.
